After elections during its 29th AGM, the new team to be at the helm of Travel Agents Federation of India (TAFI) for the period 2023-25 was elected unopposed.

Ajay Prakash was elected unopposed as President of the Travel Agents Federation of India (TAFI), a Mumbai-based association of the Indian travel industry, for the term 2023-25.

According to a press statement issued by TAFI, the election was held as part of the 29th Annual General Meeting of the association, held in Mumbai on September 2. TAFI says that all the members of the new team were also elected unopposed.

While Anil Kalsi was elected Vice President, while Abbas Moiz was elected the National General Secretary and Hitank Shah the Treasurer of the organisation.

TAFI says that five members, Seeraj Sabharwal, Sampat Damani, Rai Achal Krishna, Jitul Mehta and Anandaveloo M were elected as committee members. Four others were co-opted as per the bye laws of TAFI at the first Managing Committee held on the same day.

The co-opted members are S Somaskandan, Sunil Uttam, Anil Punjabi and Paulose Mathew, says TAFI adding that Pradip Lulla will continue as the Immediate Past President.
