Thomas Cook India’s new EnterpriseFX Card is customised to meet the unique needs of the global business traveller and launched in partnership with Visa and Mastercard.

Banking on corporate travel, which is the fastest growing segment with over 50 pc share of the outbound travel market in India, forex services company Thomas Cook India has launched EnterpriseFx, an environment friendly prepaid forex corporate card.

According to a press statement by Thomas Cook, the new product has been launched in partnership with Visa and Mastercard to offer a range of premium benefits to empower business travellers of all categories.

The statement adds that the EnterpriseFx Card features three key elements, that it is made from recycled plastic, has a security feature of a green pin and that Thomas Cook has pledged to plant a tree for every 25th card sold with an e-certification and geo-tagging. The cumulative impact is a saving of approximately 30 kg carbon emissions per card, says the company.

“Our prepaid card business is power driving our growth story with a significant uptick of 150 pc year-on-year for January-December 2023. In a strategic move to leverage India’s powerful business travel market, I am delighted to announce yet another first-mover initiative, our EnterpriseFx Card in collaboration with Mastercard and Visa. The statement adds that the Thomas Cook EnterpriseFx Card advantages will include such as Thomas Cook Edge reward points on spends with redemption for holidays, flights and hotels, free lounge access valid on international airports in India, complimentary international SIM card and free cash withdrawal.
