The organisers say 10 million tickets available for the Olympic Games
With less than six months to go until the opening of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, that will commence in the French capital from July 26 and go on until August 11, the organisers are launching limited sales of final few tickets for the games, with the first one beginning on Thursday, at 10:00 CET or 14:30 IST.
In a press statement, the Organising Committee of the Paris Games says that there will be a series of ticket releases at regular intervals over the next few weeks and up to Games time, offering many opportunities to buy tickets for this exceptional event. It adds that these surprise releases by the Paris 2024 ticket office, which will be announced only a few days in advance, will give the fans the chance to buy tickets for all the sports of the Games.
This means it is still possible to attend the Paris 2024 equestrian events in the gardens of the Château de Versailles, judo at the Champ-de-Mars Arena with the Eiffel Tower in the background, breakdance at the Place de la Concorde, or fencing under the majestic nave of the Grand Palais.

The Organising Committee says that the sales would be only available on their website and all sports would be on the offer today, although some will be available in very limited numbers. The statement adds that 95 pc of the new tickets on sale will be for events in the Ile-de-France region and 45 pc of these released tickets will be offered for less than EUR 100.

New tickets for the four ceremonies of the Games of Paris 2024 will also go on sale on this occasion, notably for the Closing Ceremony of the Paralympic Games at the Stade de France in Saint-Denis on September 8, starting at EUR 45.
The organisers say that even before new tickets go on sale today, tickets for team sports in the provinces are already available daily on the official Paris 2024 ticketing website. These include football, basketball and handball. The statement adds that of the 10 million tickets available for the Olympic Games, just under 8 million have already been taken up.
Ticketing for the Paralympic Games Paris 2024, that are scheduled from August 28 to September 8, is permanently open on the official website.
With 23 podiums on the first day of competition, the Para sports calendar is giving pride of place to the evening finals, so that as many people as possible can attend during the back-to-school period.
Tickets are available for all sports from EUR 15, whether one wants to watch Para athletics at the Stade de France, wheelchair tennis at Roland-Garros, Blind Football at the foot of the Eiffel Tower, or Para track cycling at the national velodrome in Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines.
