Inbound Platform Corporation, a Japanese company mainly engaged in travel business to Japan, has announced the launch of its new Shinkansen Bullet Train ticket service for international travellers and foreign residents in Japan.
According to a press statement by the firm, the new Shinkansen service includes basic fares, express tickets and the innovative ticket issuance via QR codes, for international travellers and foreign residents in Japan.
According to the firm, it has decided to expand and extend support by facilitating Shinkansen ticket bookings and aims to streamline the entire booking process through the new service, recognising the complexities, time constraints and language barriers currently involved in purchasing Shinkansen tickets. It offers telephone assistance in seven languages for a flawless travel experience, adds the statement.
As per Japan Railway regulations, the Shinkansen tickets can only be purchased up to one month before the departure.
