In accordance with the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) government’s announcement recently, all visitors travelling to Hong Kong are no longer required to compulsorily wear masks. According to a press statement issued by Hong Kong Tourism Board, this new step allows visitors to enjoy Hong Kong’s iconic and new experiences more independently.

The statement adds that the announcement is a welcome move as the city prepares to host a number of major international events in the upcoming months, including Clockenflap (March 3-5), Art Basel (March 23–25), and the Hong Kong Sevens (March 31–April 2).

HKTB says that local as well as international visitors are encouraged to join in the dancing and singing at Clockenflap, support their favourite teams while having a good time at the renowned Hong Kong Sevens, and network with top-tier gallerists at Art Basel Hong Kong.
