The Carlton Tower Jumeirah, a leading luxury hotel in London, will set hearts aflutter this Valentine’s Day with a trio of limited-edition cocktails inspired by some of the greatest love stories of ‘The Swinging Sixties’.

In a press statement, the hotel says that created by the hotel’s talented bar team, the exclusive cocktail menu designed to make even the cold-hearted blush will be available for guests from February 9-14. The statement adds that celebrating love in its many forms, the trio of cocktails honour a time when Carlton Tower was a new hotel, when change was in the air and the power of love was unstoppable.

In the 1960’s London, the Carlton Tower was described as a modern and youthful hotel and became the destination to see and be seen for movie stars, royalty, and fashion models alike. The statement adds that because diamonds are forever and so is love, Carton Tower had the privilege to welcome back Mr & Mrs Brown on their 60th diamond wedding anniversary, a couple who celebrated their honeymoon at the hotel in 1963, proving love really does last the test of time.

The trio of cocktails include, ‘Mr & Mrs Brown’, made with vodka, passion fruit, raspberry, and apple syrup, ‘Jean Shrimpton & David Bailey’, featuring marshmallow bourbon, limoncello, fresh lemon juice and rock candy syrup, and finally ‘John Lennon and Yoko Ono’, consisting of gin, blackberry tonka syrup, fresh lemon juice and topped off with sparkling wine, each one more tantalising than the last and sure to get your taste buds tingling this Valentine’s Day.
