Dubai Calendar has announced a new line-up of events for live music, culture and sport until the end of September
Dubai Calendar, the official listing platform for events in the city, has announced its latest line-up of live music, culture and sport events which will take place throughout the city until end of September this year.
According to a press statement, with numerous items on the calendar, from citywide activities like ‘Dubai Summer Surprises’ to cultural events such as ‘The Laughter Factory’, musical spectacles including ‘Beat The Heat festival, to family fun with Peppa Pig live in concert, there is truly something for everyone to enjoy in Dubai.
Dubai Tourism has listed some of the top picks among the upcoming and ongoing events between July and September:
Music
Six concerts featuring top artists will be held at the Dubai Media City as part of the Beat the Heat 2023 programme
According to the press statement, the region’s top artists will perform at six concerts as part of Beat the Heat 2023 programme that will be held at the Dubai Media City. On July 29, Afroto, Balti and Soulja will also perform. The musical performances feature artists from practically all around, including UAE-based bands like Sharmoofers and Autostrad as well as Modi Al Shamrani and DJ Aseel. Egyptian musical duo Disco Misr and rock band Massar Egbari will also perform.
One of the biggest highlights of the summer’s music concerts is a live performance by Indian actor-singer Farhan Akhtar at the Coca-Cola Arena on September 1 and barely a week later on September 8 iconic Bollywood singer Asha Bhosle will perform at the same venue.
For families, the Dubai Summer Surprises that began on June 29 has a large number of activities, entertainment, and promotions and will run until September 3. Visitors can explore vibrant marketplaces, enjoy thrilling rides, watch captivating performances, and indulge in culinary experiences, says the press statement.
