To promote Mauritius as a tourism destination, a three-city roadshow in India was organised by Mauritius Tourism Promotion Authority in Pune, Chennai and Jaipur.

Mauritius Tourism Promotion Authority (MTPA) recently organised a three-city roadshow in India in order to increase the potential for collaborative growth within the tourism sectors.

The show featured a delegation of 21 partners from Mauritius

In a press statement MTPA says that the show featured a delegation of 21 partners from Mauritius led by Arvind Bundhun, Director, MTPA. The statement adds that the roadshow commenced in Pune on May 27, followed by Chennai on May 29 and Jaipur on May 31, “catalysing synergies within the tourism industry.”

“This roadshow exemplified the robust bond between India and Mauritius and the promising potential for collaborative growth within the tourism sector,” says the press statement by MTPA.

“I am immensely pleased with the success of our three-city roadshow in India. With increased activities and more flights from India to Mauritius, this roadshow was crucial for us as MTPA is committed to facilitating seamless travel experiences and showcasing the diverse attractions Mauritius has to offer. The Chennai leg of the roadshow was attended by Donald Payen Chairman MTPA. The statement adds that his presence underscored the “paramount importance of India as a key tourism partner for Mauritius and laid the groundwork for enhanced cooperation.”

The enthusiasm and interest shown by attendees reaffirm our belief in the appeal of Mauritius as a top tourist destination.
