The hotel has 34 hotels and resorts across 21 destinations in eight countries

Representation firm Nijhawan Group has been chosen to represent Berjaya Hotels and Resorts, the largest hospitality chain in Malaysia, in the Indian market.

Indian travel representation firm Nijhawan Group has bagged the Indian representation for sales, marketing and public relations of Berjaya Hotels and Resorts.

According to a press statement by the company, Berjaya Hotels and Resorts has now embarked upon promoting Malaysia as a must visit destination for Indians, showcasing the USPs of the brand.

“We are elated to announce our partnership with Berjaya Hotel & Resorts as their India representative. We are dedicated to establishing unparalleled relationship with key Indian travel and media partners and foster stronger collaborations for the brand in India,” says Priyanka Nijhawan, Director, Representations, Nijhawan Group.

“India is a very important source market for Berjaya Hotels and Resorts. We are looking at focusing on destinations like Iceland, Seychelles, United Kingdom, etc. for the Indian travellers and personalising our offerings for leisure, MICE and weddings to suit the needs of the Indian market,” says Pravir Mishra, Group General Manager, Berjaya Hotels and Resorts.

The hotel, which has 34 hotels and resorts across 21 destinations in eight countries, says it is passionate about delivering heartfelt services with authentic local experiences.

From island resorts to city hotels in Malaysia, Berjaya Hotels’ expands with international hotels and resorts in the Philippines, Sri Lanka, Seychelles, United Kingdom, Vietnam, Japan and Iceland, adds the statement.

“We are excited to partner with Nijhawan Group and feel that their vast B2B network and strong media relationships with transform our positioning in this market,” Mishra adds.
