The luxurious five-star hotel Lily Beach Resort & Spa in Maldives is organising a football camp to celebrate the Football World Cup 2022, which will start in November in Qatar. For the camp, the resort will is set to welcome multiple Guinness World Record holder for Freestyle Football, Marcel Gurk in October. Gurk will lead a workshop at the premium all-inclusive resort in the Maldives for one week by training the guests on freestyle football tricks.
Marcel will be offering guests lessons, workshops and sharing some of his professional tips and tricks during his stay at the resort, as part of World Cup Football Camp event.
Guests will be able to witness his complimentary 5-day freestyle football clinic as well as request for private lessons for a fee. Marcel will also have a 2-day Football Training class specially curated from his many similar camps that he conducts all around the world. During his stay, he will also be putting on two freestyle football shows for the guests, presenting his best Guinness World Records-worthy tricks. In addition to this, there will also be some fun football matches where football fans will get the opportunity to play with Gurk and learn tricks, while at the same time get active and burn some calories at the resort.
According to a press release, guests at the Lily Beach Resort & Spa have much in store to celebrate the World Cup event while at the resort. During the course the freestyle football camp and for a limited time, speciality drinks and foods of the teams competing in the World Cup in Qatar would be offered to the guests at the resort. In addition, guests joining the football camp will get awesome goodies with t-shirts, water bottles and can win awards for special games held every day after the trainings. The resort also plans to have face painting available during this period so that guests can showcase their favourite team with fun face paint, proudly wear a jersey of their favourite World Cup team and also bring a fun costume to wear during Lily’s annual Halloween Parade which will happen on October 31. Gurk will also be joining the Halloween festivities by bringing his own unique costume as well.
