Choice Hotels says the integration has also provided Radisson Americas franchisees with access to Choice University
US-based Choice Hotels International, one of the world’s leading hotel chains, says it is on pace to integrate the nearly 600 Radisson American hotels onto its reservation delivery engine and Choice Privileges loyalty programme by the end of the summer.
In a press statement, Choice Hotels says that with the integration expertise and its investments in advanced technology, Choice Hotels’ guests and franchisees across the entire portfolio of brands are already reaping substantial benefits as the acquisition moves forward.
As a part of the merger announced in August 2022, Choice says it has already achieved many Radisson America-related accomplishments, which include a turnaround of Radisson Americas’ results with expected revenue contribution and cost savings in 2023 and 2024 significantly ahead of original expectations. This was followed by enabled status matching and ongoing point transfers between Radisson Rewards Americas and Choice Privileges.
The statement adds that this acquisition has further enabled Choice to leverage nearly 100 new corporate customers to drive group bookings. Choice Hotels has opened seven Radisson Americas branded properties, including the Radisson Blu Plaza El Bosque Santiago in Chile and the Radisson Blu Vancouver Airport Hotel & Marina in Canada. Apart from this, it has also awarded contracts for eight additional Radisson Americas branded hotels and renewed contracts or signed relicensing agreements with 27 Radisson Americas branded hotels.
Following the merger, Choice says it has also unveiled plans for a country inn and suites guestroom renovation at Choice Hotels’ 67th Annual Convention.
The statement adds that the integration has also provided Radisson Americas franchisees with access to Choice University, the most widely awarded learning platform in the hospitality industry.

Choice says that it is now on pace to complete several major integration milestones ahead of schedule. Full integration is expected by the end of the year. The following key steps are expected to be completed during Q3 within just a year of the acquisition, the first of which entails Radisson Americas properties to be bookable on ChoiceHotels.com and connection to the ChoiceEdge central reservations system.
It adds that the Radisson Rewards Americas loyalty program will be fully integrated with the award-winning Choice Privileges program and eligible Radisson Americas hotels will begin the migration to the ChoiceAdvantage property management system and the ChoiceMax mobile-friendly, cloud-based revenue management system.
