On the heels of a successful 2023 with demand from Indian clientele at an all-time high, Cheval Collection, operator of luxury serviced apartments, is showcasing its latest portfolio at the ongoing Indian travel trade SATTE 2024 to connect with the Indian travel trade.

In a press statement, Cheval Collection, which is headquartered in London and operates properties in Europe and the Middle East, says that after a hugely successful visit to SATTE in 2023, it is exhibiting this year also in order to network and build business relationships with key stakeholders in this booming market.

It says that key industry reports from Q4 2023 show that the record outbound tourism from India is reflected in the 12 pc year-on-year increase in bookings to Cheval Collection properties in London, Edinburgh and Dubai from Indian visitors travelling overseas.

The statement adds that Cheval Collection currently operates eight Residences and one Maison in London, three residences in Edinburgh and one Maison in Dubai, with over 800 unique and varied apartments to choose from.

‘‘Our attendance at SATTE 2024 clearly demonstrates the importance of the Indian consumer travel market to Cheval Collection. India is already a prosperous market for us across the United Kingdom and the Middle East, but we are looking to double the share of the Indian market through active promotion and events like SATTE are perfect for that,” says Doug Greenwood, Director of Sales and Marketing at Cheval Collection, who is attending the exhibition.

The statement adds that Cheval is exhibiting in conjunction with TRAC, which is Cheval Collection’s Sales Representative in India. The ongoing event consists of travel trade meetings, networking opportunities and discussions to cement key relationships in the growing Indian market.

“Now that borders are open and visa requirements have settled down, our pipeline of openings is a true testament to the levels of demand we are seeing from India and across the globe, Cheval Phoenix House is opening its doors in summer 2024 and Cheval Maison West Regent Glasgow will be opening in 2026,” Greenwood adds.

“We are also looking to expand the portfolio by four properties per year, with firm expansion plans across the UAE and the Middle East, with a focus on Dubai, but with a keen interest to explore opportunities in Saudi Arabia if they arise,” he says.
