Disneyland Paris, the iconic theme park in France, is hosting gala festive celebrations as a part of its immersive Christmas festivities until January 7, 2024.
In a press statement, the resort says its ‘Disney Enchanted Christmas’ season will feature winter holiday traditions where guests can meet their beloved Disney characters dressed in all their festive finery. One such tradition is the return of the giant Christmas tree, adorned with stunning and enchanting decorations, overlooking Main Street, USA, where snow falls several times a day.
Iconic shows filled with Christmas magic
The resort will present the Mickey’s Dazzling Christmas Parade with a burst of vibrant colours, featuring five exceptional floats set to the music of the holiday season. Day and night, Mickey, his friends and the Disney Princesses, along with Santa Claus, are set to dance and parade down Main Street, USA. At nightfall, the parade glows bright, adding even more sparkle to the most enchanting of Christmas wonderlands. Nearly 100 performers on stage and backstage will perform in their finest costumes to enhance the festive atmosphere of this parade. There will also be a musical with Disney’s cherished characters in the musical, showcased at the Videopolis Theater.
Disney Characters and Santa Claus join the celebration
The resort says that a selection of the iconic Disney characters, such as Stitch, Goofy, or their companions and Santa Claus, will join the celebrations where visitors can greet and take pictures for keepsakes. To honour the theatrical release in France of the new Disney Animation musical movie, Wish, Asha, the heroine of the movie will be present in the park from November 29th, 2023 to January 7, 2024.
Disney volunteers bring the magic of Christmas to kids in hospital
The statement adds that Disney volunteers will also distribute thousands of gifts in the pediatric wards of many hospitals across France to hospitalised kids as they step into the shoes of Santa’s eleves.
