From a modern villa in Costa Rica featuring an infinity saltwater pool to an A-frame in upstate New York, Airbnb has released a list of its most liked properties on Instagram.

National parks, mesmerising views and beach categories rank among the top booked categories for 2023, according to San Francisco-based vacation rental company Airbnb. The popularity of nature getaways is also apparent through Airbnb’s top Instagram posts of 2023, featuring stays immersed in lush woodland and situated on stunning coastlines. 

From a modern villa in Costa Rica featuring an infinity saltwater pool to an A-frame in upstate New York boasting a book nook and a fire pit overlooking the woods, Airbnb compiles a list of some of last year’s most popular listings  featured on its Instagram account.

Best View of Quintay: Quintay Casablanca, Chile

Jutting out into the Pacific on the Chilean coast and surrounded by rocks and gardens, this incredible home in Quintay has been described by guests as paradise on earth, says Airbnb. Surrounded by rocks and gardens, the gray loft has the best view of Quintay’s Playa Grande.

Eco Bamboo House: Abiansemal, Indonesia

Built in 1968 but fully renovated, Airbnb says this cozy yet modern vibe is immersed in nature and offers all the accoutrements of an upscale stay. It adds that guests can look forward to great hiking in the summer, skiing in the winter, fresh upstate air year-round and serenity all day and night.  

Chic Log Cabin: Eldred, NY, United States

This log cabin by a mountain stream in the Catskills is only 2 hours from New York City and, according to the hosts, they have spent years carefully curating its interior with vintage furniture pieces. Airbnb says it is an escape designed for spending time with friends, for working and relaxing, for early mornings and late nights.

Tanglebloom Flower Farm Glamping: Brookline, United States

Set in a ‘hemlock grove,’ this quirky glamping cabin was built from scratch using natural materials on Vermont’s Tanglebloom Flower Farm. The covered porch is perfect for relaxing with a morning coffee, sunset wine, or a good book in between. Airbnb says Tanglebloom Tiny Cabin is perfect for couples and solo travellers seeking a peaceful retreat.
