As part of its intensive promotions currently going in India, Tourism Authority of Thailand organised Amazing Thailand Festival 2023 in Mumbai. The show, projecting the best of Thai culture, attracted over 20,000 visitors.

To showcase the best of Thai culture to residents of Mumbai, the Tourism Authority of Thailand, Mumbai Office, organised the Amazing Thailand Festival 2023.

According to a press statement issued by TAT Mumbai, the festival proved to be a vibrant affair that brought avid travellers, trade partners, and city folks to experience the cultural diversity and captivating offerings of Thailand.

The statement goes on to add that for the festival a number of dignitaries had specially come to Mumbai. These include Tanes Petsuwan, Deputy Governor of International Marketing Asia and South Pacific at the Tourism Authority of Thailand, Donnawit Poolsawat, Consul-General of the Royal Thai Consulate-General Mumbai, Kanchana Patarachoke, Deputy Director-General, Department of International Organisations, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Thailand, Nithee Seeprae, Deputy Governor for Digitalisation, Research, and Development, TAT, Somradee Chitchong, Deputy Governor for Administration, TAT, and Isada Saovaros, Director of the Tourism Authority of Thailand Mumbai Office.

The statement adds that the festival was held at Jio World Drive from March 24 – 26 and that the buzzing festival attracted over 7,000 attendees a day, adding to over 21,000 persons over the three days. The statement adds that the festival introduced visitors to the 5 f’s of Thailand viz food, film, fashion, fight and festival.  Through various engaging activities and events, the attendees could discover and indulge in the many facets of Thai culture, from its world-renowned cuisine to its vibrant fashion and film. The festival also highlighted the country’s martial arts heritage and showcased the excitement of Muay Thai fighting.

The statement adds that overall, the festival effectively helped in actively raising destination awareness of Thailand. The Amazing Thailand Festival 2023 was a demonstration of TAT Mumbai’s commitment to promoting Thailand as a premier travel destination by bringing the true ‘Thainess’ to the City of Dreams, it says.
