With the Mumbai flight, Vistara has doubled its connectivity and capacity to Germany as the airline has already been flying 6 times weekly between Frankfurt and Delhi
Full service carrier Vistara, which is a joint venture of the Tata Group and Singapore Airlines, has officially doubled its capacity between India and Germany with the inauguration of its non-stop, 6 times weekly flights between Mumbai and Frankfurt.
According to a press statement issued by the airline, the inaugural flight, operated on Vistara’s Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, commenced from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, Mumbai at 13:00 IST on November 15 and will arrive at Frankfurt International Airport at 17:30 CET.
With the Mumbai flight, Vistara has doubled its connectivity and capacity to Germany as the airline has already been flying 6 times weekly between Frankfurt and Delhi.

“Sensing a need for an Indian airline offering world-class experience and connecting to long-haul destinations in Europe from Mumbai; we started 5x direct flights to London Heathrow. We are now delighted to start 6x weekly service to Frankfurt as our second European destination from India’s financial capital. Vistara says that its Mumbai-Frankfurt flight, UK0027, will depart on all days except Monday at 13:00 from Mumbai and arrive the same day at 17:30 CET in Frankfurt. The return flight UK0028 will also operate all days except Monday and leave Frankfurt at 20:20, reaching Mumbai at 09:10 the next day.
Vistara says it accepts all eligible customers meeting visa and entry requirements in both countries, as specified by the respective government bodies. Vistara strongly encourages its customers to fully understand these guidelines before making their bookings.
The airline currently, has a fleet of 63 aircraft, including 48 Airbus A320neo, 10 Airbus A321 and 5 Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners and has flown more than 50 million customers since starting operations.
