Kuwaiti low-cost carrier Jazeera Airways has announced an increased frequency of flights from Bangalore and Hyderabad as an important step towards enhancing connectivity between the two regions and Kuwait.

In a press statement, Jazeera Airways says that it will commence operating four weekly flights from Bengaluru and six weekly flights from Hyderabad this month. Previously, the airline flew to these locations twice and three a week.

Since launching its India operations in October 2017 with Hyderabad, Jazeera Airways has progressively expanded to serve six Indian cities. Currently, the airline offers 24 flights each week from India to Kuwait and other destinations, says the statement.

Jazeera Airways adds that it has added two additional European cities to its summer schedule this year, including Tirana, Albania, and Belgrade, Serbia. Flights to Prague, the Czech Republic, and Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, will also resume. Along with adding new routes, the airline has increased the frequency of its Riyadh flights and added new routes to Larnaca in Cyprus, Sphinx in Egypt, Tivat in Montenegro, and Shiraz in Iran. With over 66 destinations, including Tblisi, Istanbul, Baku and Cairo, Jazeera Airways continues to be a popular choice for travellers from India.
