These awards follow the World Travel Awards 2023 where Etihad scored a hat-trick with Best Customer Experience, Best Economy Class and Best First Class Lounge

After a hat-trick of accolades at World Travel Awards 2023, Etihad Airways has bagged two top honours of ‘Design Airline of the Year 2023’ and ‘Most Improved Airline Brand’ at the 11th DesignAir Aviation Awards.

Abu Dhabi-based carrier Etihad Airways has bagged two acclamations at the 11th DesignAir Awards, including the top honour of ‘Design Airline of the Year 2023’ and ‘Most Improved Airline Brand’.

In a press statement, Etihad says that these awards  recognise Etihad’s continued investment in guest experience, which included elevating its Business Class experience and introduction of new menus and design-led, sustainable Economy dining experience.

These awards follow the World Travel Awards 2023 where Etihad scored a hat-trick with Best Customer Experience, Best Economy Class and Best First Class Lounge.

“Etihad has not just shone in its own region where it was crowned Design Airline of the Year Middle East, 2023, but also our most prestigious award, Design Airline of the Year, 2023. Etihad has proven itself above all other carriers across the globe as this year’s leading global design airline,” says a press statement by the DesignAir judges.

The statement adds that airport passenger experience has too, been improved following the opening of Terminal A in November, Etihad’s new home at Abu Dhabi International Airport.
