Indian national carrier Air India has launched a limited-period network-wide sale, ‘Namaste World Sale’, with discounted fares on domestic and international destinations.
In a press statement, Air India says that bookings under the sale are open for only four days from February 2 to February 5, for travel between February 2 and September 30.
The airline says that the all-inclusive one-way Economy class fares in the domestic sectors start from as low as INR 1,799 while it is INR 10,899 on one-way Business Class. For the international sectors, the one-way all-inclusive Economy class fares start from INR 3,899 and the Return Economy class fares start from INR 9,600 on select destinations.
Air India says that besides domestic cities, the discounted fares will be available for the destinations the airline operates to in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Europe, Australia, the Gulf and Middle East, Asia Pacific, and South Asia. Some of the fares on offer to international destinations start from:
- India to United States: INR 31,956 for one-way Economy and INR 54,376 for return fares Economy
- India to Europe: INR 22,283 for one-way Economy and INR 39,244 for return fares Economy
- India to Gulf and Middle East: INR 7,714 for one-way Economy and INR 13,547 for return fares Economy
- India to Singapore: INR 6,772 one-way Economy and INR 13, 552 for return fares Economy
- India to Melbourne in Australia at INR 29,441 one-way Economy and INR 54,207 for return fares Economy
- India to Kathmandu at INR 3,899 for one-way Economy and INR 9,600 for return fares Economy
Air India says seats available on sale are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Customers will be able to save on convenience fees on bookings for tickets purchased through the Air India website and mobile app.
The statement adds that special fares under the sale are also being offered in the Executive and Premium Economy Class. Discounted fares from international destinations to India are available under this offer. However, the fares may marginally vary due to the rate of exchange fluctuation.
