Air Canada, the Canadian flag carrier, has announced that it will operate 21 flights a week from Delhi to the major hubs of Canada – Toronto, Montreal, and Vancouver. The operation of flights will be from Toronto and Montreal on Boeing 787 and Boeing 777 aircraft.

“India and Canada have strong and close ties and people from both countries are eager to travel to visit family and friends, take a long-delayed holiday or conduct business. Air Canada makes this convenient by offering a total of 21 return flights weekly between Delhi and Toronto, Montreal, and Vancouver. We are the carrier with the most flights between India and Canada and will return to nonstop service between Toronto, Montreal, and Delhi, showing our deep commitment to this important market,” says Mark Galardo, senior vice president, Network Planning and Revenue Management, Air Canada.

In March, flights will operate daily from Delhi to Toronto, with a second flight on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. There is also daily service to Vancouver and flights to Montreal four times a week on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

Air Canada says that every aircraft features three classes – the Signature class, Premium Economy, and Economy. The flights also offer a rich loyalty programme with accumulation and redemption along with facilities such as priority check-in and boarding, a Maple Leaf lounge access for eligible customers along with other benefits.

To add flexibility for passengers, keeping in mind the current health situation around the world, Air Canada has modified its refund policy, making it more flexible. It says the new refund policy offers option of a full refund to the original form of payment, a travel voucher, or an equivalent value in Aero points with a 65 pc bonus should the airline cancel or reschedule the flight by more than three hours. This policy is applicable to all tickets purchased.
