The Indian low-cost airline IndiGo has announced that beginning June 1, there will be more flights operating between Delhi and Phuket, Thailand.

In a press statement, the airline says that it is doubling its current frequency from 7 to 14 flights per week in response to the growing demand from business and leisure travellers.

The airline says that its flight 6E 1075 will depart daily at 09:35 from Delhi to reach Phuket at 15:40. On the return leg, flight 6E 1076 will take off from Phuket at 16:40 to reach Delhi at 19:45.

With the advantage of visa-free entry to Thailand, these additional flights will boost travel, trade, and tourism between both nations, thereby fostering stronger bilateral ties, the statement says.
