Oman Ministry of Heritage and Tourism recently concluded a three-city sales mission across the three cities of Chandigarh, Bengaluru and Chennai.

Starting with Chandigarh on October 30, it was followed by Bengaluru on November 7, and culminated in Chennai on November 9, according to a press statement by Oman Tourism.

The response received from the trade partners was overwhelming  and this engagement is poised to translate into a significant boost in the number of visitors from India, reflecting the growing interest in Oman as a travel destination, says the board.

The objective of the mission was to establish Oman as a premier leisure destination among trade partners, says the board. It adds that through this sales tour, Oman Tourism was able to strengthen ties with more than 25 top trade partners along with Arjun Chadha, Oman Country Manager.

The statement adds that the sales mission sought to raise awareness about Oman within the trade community, inspiring them to promote the Sultanate of Oman as a leisure destination to their clientele.

As the trade partners immersed themselves in the diverse cultural, heritage, and adventure offerings showcased during the presentation, their eagerness to advocate for this picturesque destination among their clients became palpable, adds the board.
