Witnessing the revival of the Covid-19 pandemic and fearing health concerns, Italian trade fair organiser IEG or Italian Exhibition Group says it has received numerous requests from trade bodies to put off the events as they are convinced that it would be impossible to attract significant attendance from Italy and foreign countries, including Europe.

IEG received multiple requests from all Sigep’s associative organisations which have led to IEG acknowledging the fact that the worsening of the situation of the pandemic will not allow the show to be held in late January as planned earlier. Hence, the decision to postpone the event is in the best interest of everyone and the earliest estimated dates are in March 2022. Vicenzaoro January will also be moved to March in consultation and agreement with the market, trade as sociations, companies and operators.

Euronext Milan, a regulated market organised and managed by Borsa Italiana S.p.A., has, with its facilities in Rimini and Vicenza, achieved national leadership over the years in the organisation of trade shows and conferences. The development of activities abroad – also through joint-ventures with global or local organisers, in the United States, United Arab Emirates, China, Mexico and India, for example – now sees the company positioned among the top European operators in the sector.
