The recently-concluded Arabian Travel Market (ATM) in Dubai was the first major occasion for most travel trade professionals in the Middle East to relaunch business contacts after two years of pandemic. It was also important for Time Hotels, a Dubai-based mid-range hotel chain. Mohamed Awadalla, chairman of Time Hotels, tells India Outbound in an interview that having renewed contacts at ATM, his company is now targetting aggressive expansion, hoping to add six more properties to the 17 existing ones. Awadalla says Indian clientele accounts for about a quarter of his guests and he has taken steps to increase the footfall of Indian guests.
