Besides the traditional GCC market, the island nation of Bahrain has identified 19 key markets, including India, to focus in the post-pandemic era. The India strategy for Bahrain Tourism rests on three key pillars — destination weddings, MICE and leisure. Maryam Toorani, Director of Marketing and Promotions of Bahrain Tourism, tells India Outbound in an interview that Bahrain has recently appointed a representation agency in India and the destination will start an aggressive marketing campaign within a few weeks.
