Enthused by positive response from the Indian market over the past two years, Jamaica is looking to significantly increase its activity in the market this year. Donovan White, Director of Jamaica Tourism Board, tells India Outbound that for the first time ever, the board will invite about 10 leading wholesaler buyers from India for JPEX later this year. White adds that besides weddings and long-stay visitors, he is also targetting the cruise segment of the Indian market and is counting on unique Jamaican experiences like its cuisine, reggae music and cricket to attract more visitors from India.
