Every year Little India of Singapore is bathed in lights for Diwali celebrations. Normally the ethnic district holds month long Diwali celebrations each year during which lavishly decorated markets and numerous cultural performances add a carnivalesque touch to the festivity. In 2020, we look back how it was celebrated in 2019 when the world didn’t know the word called Covid-19.
