The World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC) has appointed Gaurav Bhatnagar, Joint Managing Director and Co-Founder of TBO.com, as Regional Vice Chair for India.
According to a press statement by WTTC, Bhatnagar’s appointment is a significant step for WTTC’s strategy in India and reflects the organisation’s commitment to strengthening its presence and influence in one of the world’s fastest-growing travel and tourism markets.
WTTC says that in alignment with this appointment, discussions are underway to finalise a strategic agenda focussed on expanding WTTC’s activities and initiatives in India.
Key topics include enhancing industry collaboration, addressing policy challenges, and fostering sustainable tourism practices.
The agenda aims to align with India’s broader economic goals, leveraging the country’s unique position as a major global tourism hub.
