India’s largest travel firm Thomas Cook India and its subsidiary SOTC Travel have launched a bouquet of outbound travel packages with a wide choice of immersive vacation experiences that are exclusively for women as part of the celebrations of the International Women’s Day.

In a press statement, the firms say that the range of holidays offer a blend of leisure, wellness breaks, shopping getaways, and adventure travels with a strategic goal to target a high potential segment of expanding demand from over 40 pc of Indian women travellers and honour International Women’s Day.

The statement adds that modern female travellers are independent and eager to exploring new places. The companies say their holiday experts have created a variety of affordable luxury as well as luxury products, with a diversity of interest-based itineraries at a competitive price, to support women in designing their ideal vacation. Thomas Cook and SOTC Travel have included a variety of immersive activities like indulging in local food, supporting local businesses, learning a new skill or craft, exploring underrated destinations, and more. In order to provide additional assurance and safety, the firms have planned private women’s group trips that will be accompanied by professional lady tour managers.

There are a wide range of options available, such as pub crawls and Vespa rides in Singapore, bike tours in Spain, Muay Thai and spa wellness in Thailand, cooking classes with local chefs and rainforest adventures like ziplining in Malaysia, culinary classes at the renowned Le Cordon Bleu in France, and scenic train rides across Switzerland with the Swiss Travel Pass. Also included are whisky trails in Japan, spiritual retreats in Indonesia, snorkelling and scuba diving in the Maldives, shopping for K-beauty products, tours of the renowned Jeju Islands, wine tasting at Hunter Valley and Yarra, and whale watching in Western Australia, among other activities.

 The statement adds that adventurers can choose from a variety of activities, including skydiving or white or black-water rafting in New Zealand’s Queenstown, mangrove canoeing in Abu Dhabi.
