In a significant move to enhance the number of Indian visitors to Almaty, the largest city in Kazakhstan, Visit Almaty has partnered with Salvia Promoters, a destination marketing agency, to attract more Indian travellers.
According to a press statement, the agreement aims to make the city a more prominent destination for Indian tourists by promoting its cultural, historical, and adventure offerings, along with launching targetted promotional campaigns.
Visit Almaty says that this partnership aims to promote the city’s tourism offerings to the Indian market and make it more accessible to tourists from India.
It adds that the partnership will launch with a series of promotional campaigns aimed at raising awareness about travel opportunities to Almaty.
Almaty says that Salvia Promoters will organise promotional events, workshops and collaborate with travel agencies across India to showcase its historical sites, ecological attractions, culinary offerings, and adventure tourism.
It adds that travellers can expect a range of tour packages tailored for Indian tourists, featuring cultural experiences, outdoor activities, and special events throughout the year, with a focus on the FIT and MICE segments in India.
The statement adds that Almaty is a prime destination for Indian weddings, offering scenic views, cultural experiences, and luxury services. With the growing demand for international wedding venues, Almaty’s landscapes, services, and accessibility make it a suitable choice for couples seeking wedding experiences abroad.
“We are excited to expand our tourism outreach in India. Through this collaboration with Salvia Promoters headed by Prashant Chaudhary, we aim to showcase the beauty of Almaty and encourage more travelers from India to discover our city. Almaty presents itself as a great short-haul destination with visa-free travel and direct flight offers for Indian travelers,” says Kamila Lukpanova, CEO, Almaty Tourism Bureau of Visit Almaty.
“This is an incredible opportunity to promote Almaty as a premier tourist destination. We are committed to bringing the essence of Almaty to the Indian audience and will work diligently to strengthen the tourism ties between our nations,” says Prashant Chaudhary, Director of Salvia Promoters.
