VFS Global, a global leader in outsourcing and technology services for governments and diplomatic missions, has launched a new online platform to simplify Indonesia’s Electronic Visa on Arrival (e-VoA) process. Available to nationals from 97 countries, including India, this platform aims to enhance the visa application experience and streamline entry for travellers visiting Indonesia.

In a press statement, VFS says that the initiative aims to promote inbound tourism and improve customer experience, aligning with the Indonesian government’s efforts to welcome 14 million visitors in 2025.

It adds that travellers can now bypass long immigration queues at all international airports and seaports, including Bali and Jakarta, by completing the entire process online and receiving a pre-approved e-VoA before departure.

The statement adds that the platform simplifies the application in four easy steps, namely submitting documents, paying fees, and receiving the e-VoA.

It adds that the platform also features Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology, ensuring that applicants’ details are auto-populated, reducing errors and saving time.

VFS Global says travellers applying for Indonesia e-VoA will receive dedicated email support and live assistance in seven languages, English, Mandarin, Japanese, Korean, Arabic, German, and French, with more languages to be added for key markets.
