The Bali and Beyond Mega FAM Series showcased Indonesia’s top destinations to travel agents from Central Asia and South Asia, including India, with Bintan Island standing out for its diverse landscapes and cultural heritage.

Bintan Resorts highlighted its unique blend of cultural heritage, natural beauty and accommodations during a mega fam trip that included travel agents from various countries in Central Asia and South Asia, including India.

In a press statement, Bintan Resorts, which represents a collection of luxury resorts on Bintan Island in Indonesia, says that as part of the Bali and Beyond Mega FAM Series, travel professionals from South and Central Asia explored the island’s attractions, reinforcing Bintan’s appeal as a prime destination for MICE, weddings, and unique experiences. The event showcased the island’s growing prominence in global travel markets, it adds.

Bintan Resorts says that the FAM trip included site inspections of its diverse accommodations, from beachfront properties to villas and glamping resorts, showcasing the island’s appeal to a wide range of visitors.

It adds that participants explored cultural and natural attractions, including the 500 Lohan Temple, Kwan Yin Temple, Sand Dunes & Blue Lake and the Bintan Mangrove Discovery Tour.

It further adds that the participants also enjoyed water sports at Lagoi Bay Beach, such as banana boat rides, jet skiing, paddleboarding, and kayaking.

The event ended with a tabletop networking event in Bali, strengthening connections between participants and Indonesian tourism providers, while promoting Indonesia’s destinations, including Bintan, in global markets.

It adds that India was represented by three top travel agents, highlighting the growing interest in Bintan as a prime destination for MICE, weddings, and unique experiences.
