Taiwan Tourism Administration (TTA), in strategic partnership with numerous airlines has concluded a series of seminars across the Indian market.

In a press statement, Taiwan Tourism Administration says that the seminars had been conducted in Delhi and Hyderabad in association with Thai Airways, in partnership with Scoot in Chennai and Cathay Pacific in Bengaluru.

TTA adds that the seminars promoted Taiwan as a premier incentive destination.  It adds that the initiative named Educational and Networking Session focussed on showcasing the flight connectivity by airlines from key Indian cities to Taiwan. TTA says that in its ongoing efforts to promote Taiwan as an incentive travel destination, the tourism promotion organisation will also participate in ITB Mumbai from September 11-13.

The statement adds that sessions in each city were designed to educate the travel professionals on Taiwan’s potential to hold large incentive movements from India, with a focus on ease of visa, flight connectivity as well as things to do in the country. TTA says that its robust MICE Incentive plan positions Taiwan as a MICE and b-leisure destination. Additionally, the session sought to strengthen the relationship between the TTA and leading airlines through collaborative promotional activations.

The statement adds that the seminars were particularly aimed at educating the travel partners on Taiwan’s MICE infrastructure. The sessions were well attended in all the cities amidst renewed interest and enthusiasm from the travel fraternity. Events in each city kickstarted with a destination presentation by Taiwan, a presentation by airlines on the connectivity and fares, interactive sessions, and feedback, followed by further networking Hi-Tea. Around 150 leading MICE and leisure companies attended the seminars.

The statement adds that Taiwan’s robust incentive plan offers subsidies of up to INR 5,039 per person per visit and a maximum of INR 12,73,689 per event.
