Focussing on the India market to bring back its pre-pandemic footfall, Taiwan Tourism Administration (TTA) recently participated in a number of events across India to highlight its various tourism offerings.

After a successful showcase at the Taiwan Expo 2024 in July and hosting its first post-pandemic roadshow, both in New Delhi, the latter seeing a  turnout of over 110 travel agents and 12 renowned travel trade media, TTA showcased Taiwan’s potential for incentives at the recently concluded ITB India 2024, under the theme Explore Taiwan, Explore New Asia

In a press statement, TTA says that this participation marks a significant step in strengthening tourism ties between Taiwan and India. With robust marketing campaigns and digital efforts, Taiwan says it aims to attract even more Indian tourists eager to explore its many charms.

Taiwan Tourism Administration adds that it is dedicated to enhancing collaborations with Indian travel agencies and launching new products tailored to meet the needs of this vibrant market.

Following the travel shows, TTA is set to host an educational roadshow in Mumbai on September 27 in view of the positive responses.

This event, TTA says, will further engage and educate Indian travel professionals, offering them a closer look at Taiwan’s unique travel experiences and partnership opportunities.

TTA says Taiwan’s participation in events in India have attracted numerous industry players, facilitating discussions on cooperation opportunities across sectors, including business travel, incentive travel, and wedding photography.
