Responsible tourism sector to showcase 80 exhibitors from 26 countries
ITB Berlin, a leading global travel and trade fair, that will be held from March 4-6, will focus on sustainability and social responsibility topics.
According to a press statement, the tourism trade fair will collaborate with the Menschen helfen Menschen project (people help people), a community-based initiative, which will allow exhibitors to donate lunch bags to support socially disadvantaged individuals in Berlin.
The statement adds that the responsible tourism section will showcase over 80 exhibitors from 26 countries, presenting innovative solutions for environmentally conscious travel.
Additionally, notable participants include Travelife and European Centre for Eco and Agri Tourism, alongside newcomers like Thai Responsible Tourism Association, highlighting sustainable products from regions such as Indonesia and Tanzania.
As per the statement, ITB Berlin convention will feature various thematic tracks aimed at fostering dialogue on diversity and inclusion.
Additionally, the event will celebrate achievements in sustainable tourism with awards such as the ITB Earth Award and the People’s Choice Award, recognising destinations that excel in climate action.
The statement also adds that ITB Berlin 2025 is set to welcome industry stakeholders to embrace sustainability and inclusivity as integral components of tourism’s future.
