Saudi Arabia Tourism debuts in India at SATTE 2022

With an aim to present itself as an exciting destination to the Indian travellers, Saudi Arabia is set to make its debut at SATTE 2022 that starts in New Delhi later this week, the first time that Saudi Arabia will participate in a trade fair in India.

Saudi Tourism Authority (STA) will be debuting for the first time at the 29th edition of South Asian Travel and Tourism Exchange (SATTE) 2022, a travel and tourism trade exhibition that will be held from May 18 to 20 in the national capital of India.

According to a press release, at the trade show the Saudi pavillion will provide a platform for travel trade to engage directly with and build relationships with STA representatives and key partners, showcasing the breadth and diversity of the country’s dynamic tourism offering.

Saudi Arabia has embarked on an ambitious programme to drive inbound visitation from India, inspiring local trade partners and the traveller to explore the undiscovered beauty and wonder of the country,” says Alhasan Aldabbagh, Chief Market Officer, APAC, Saudi Tourism Authority.

Aldabbagh believes that SATTE will provide an ample opportunity for promoting Saudi Arabia as a destination in South Asia. He adds that he is certain that through STA’s debut participation in SATTE, the destination will have the chance to highlight its authentic Arabian culture, pristine nature, diverse landscapes and a rapidly expanding entertainment offers to the Indian tourists.

“As we continue to open up to the world, India is an incredibly important key source market for Saudi and presents a wealth of possibility for trade partners, to grow their business and to ultimately, create a new exciting destination for Indian travellers,” Aldabbagh adds.

Attendees attending SATTE 2022 will have an opportunity to witness the Saudi pavillion at B12 and engage in one-on-one meetings with the attending delegation to learn more about Saudi Arabia and its offerings to the world, says the press release.
