ATM 2025 will see the return of major exhibitors: ATM 2025
Saudi Arabia is set to highlight the growth of its travel and tourism sector in the Arabian Travel Market after witnessing an annual increase of 9.5 pc in international visitor arrivals in 2024, reaching 30 million.
In a press statement, the organisers of ATM say that the country will showcase key milestones and upcoming projects at the event, with a particular focus on the Kingdom’s long-term tourism plans under Vision 2030.
The organisers add that ATM 2025 will see the return of major exhibitors from the Kingdom, including Saudia, Flynas, Qiddiya Investment Company, Sixth Gulf Travel Company, Taiba Investment, Makkah Clock Royal Tower, Fairmont Hotel, Cruise Saudi and L’Azure Hospitality.
According to a press statement, ATM adds that this year, new exhibitors include Flyadeal, Riyadh Air, Diriyah Company, Aseer, Baan Holding Group, Makkah Hotel & Towers, Alhussam Tourism, and StayKSA.
According to press statement, the organisers say that these companies will be showcased in a dedicated ‘Saudi Land’ hall, which is considered an expanded version of the previous year’s ATM Saudi Village. It says that this year, the presence of country’s exhibitors has increased by 16 pc.
Meanwhile, ATM says that Saudi Arabia is the largest and fastest-growing economy in the GCC. According to a report by Videc, in 2023, the country’s GDP reached USD 1.1 trillion, with a per capita GDP of USD 32,500, with non-oil sector contributions rising to 63 pc in 2021, compared to 39 pc in 2000.
According to a press statement, the organisers say that inbound leisure travel grew from 1.12 million in 2019 to 6.2 million in 2023, while domestic travel expanded from 48 million to 78 million over the same period.
Additionally, ATM says that as per report, Saudi Arabia’s Total Air Market (TAM), is expected to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 12.2 pc, reaching USD 11.3 billion by 2028. The entry of Riyadh Air, with plans to connect the Kingdom to over 100 cities by 2030, and Saudia’s international expansion strategy are expected to contribute to a 14.1 pc CAGR in international air travel by 2028.
Moreover, as per a press statement, trade show organisers said that the country’s role in the travel sector will also be featured during the ATM conference programme, which spans three stages, Global Stage, Future Stage, and New Business Events Stage, featuring 68 sessions and 185 speakers.
Held in partnership with Dubai World Trade Centre, ATM says that this year’s event will host 55,000 attendees and feature over 2,800 exhibitors from 161 destinations. The theme this year is Global Travel: Developing Tomorrow’s Tourism Through Enhanced Connectivity, focussing on the evolving role of interconnected travel networks.
