Resorts World Cruises’ third cruise ship, Star Scorpio to be renamed as Star Voyager
Resorts World Cruises has announced that its third cruise ship, Star Scorpio, which is set to join the fleet and commence deployment from March 26 has been renamed as Star Voyager.
In a statement, RWC says that Star Voyager will commence its journey by exploring more of South East Asia until July 21 with Singapore as its main homeport, together with Jakarta, Melaka, Bangkok and Ho Chi Minh city as its dual homeport.
The statement adds that passengers will have the convenience to embark the Star Voyager from any of these homeport cities at selected dates, including during the local school holiday periods with the option to sail between cities, as well as to more popular destinations like Medan, Pulau Redang and Koh Samui.
According to the statement, the Singapore departures of the Star Voyager will begin from March 26 until July 21. The ship will depart from Jakarta from March 29 until April 13 and from June 14 until 29 to offer a total of eight roundtrip cruises.
Passengers can also embark the Star Voyager from Bangkok, via Laem Chabang Port, with four roundtrip from April 22 to May 7 and from Melaka from May 29 to July 24. In Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, Star Voyager will create history as the first international cruise line to homeport in Ho Chi Minh City. Passengers can embark from Ho Chi Minh City, via Phu My Port, from July 9 – 24, it adds.
