In a move to boost travel from India to Peru, Promperu, the Promotion Agency of Peru for Trade, Tourism and Investments has launched an e-learning programme.

In a press statement, Promperu says that the ‘Peru Agents e-learning Programme’ is a specialised training platform tailored to equip Indian travel professionals with comprehensive knowledge about Peru, helping them curate unique and unforgettable itineraries for their clients and that it was created to respond to the industry’s demand for a structured educational resource on Peru.

It adds that the app’s concise modules provide key insights into Peru‘s culture, history and landscapes, along with promotional materials to aid itinerary planning.

It further adds that the programme is particularly helpful for agents new to promoting Peruvian tourism.

Promperu says that participants in the e-learning programme will explore Peru’s top attractions, from Machu Picchu to Lima and the Amazon rainforest, empowering agents to create personalised travel experiences that meet client expectations.

It adds that Peru is a rapidly growing tourism destination in Latin America which blends tradition, modernity, art, music, and renowned cuisine.
