Priceline, the online travel platform, has appointed Sejal Amin as its Chief Technology Officer. She will oversee technology operations and drive Priceline’s adoption of generative and agentive AI to support its mission as the world’s best travel dealmaker.

In a press statement, Priceline says that Amin will oversee product engineering, infrastructure, data and technology operations for the online travel company.

It adds that she will also lead the integration of generative and agentive AI into Priceline’s platform.

The statement adds that Amin brings over 25 years of experience in leading global technology teams and driving digital transformations.

It adds that before joining Priceline, she served as CTO at Shutterstock, where she led AI integration efforts to enhance customer features.

Priceline says that prior to shutter stock, Amin was CTO of the Tax and Accounting division at Thomson Reuters, overseeing engineering and product portfolio transformations.

It adds that Amin is also an adjunct professor at NYU’s Executive Education Programme and a founding member of Unveiled, an organisation supporting women in STEM.
