In a significant effort to enhance its presence in India, Living Tours, a leading Portuguese and Spanish tour operator, is making its debut at SATTE 2025 in New Delhi, strengthening its commitment to the Indian market.

In a press statement, the company, based in Porto, Portugal, says that the participation follows its strategic push in 2023, when it formed new partnerships in Mumbai, further solidifying its position in India as demand for Portuguese and Spanish travel experiences continues to rise.

The company says that outbound air traffic from India to Portugal has surged by 38.5 pc from November 2023 to November 2024, with Lisbon and Northern Portugal emerging as the most sought-after locations.

It adds that this surge has made India the third most important market for Living Tours, prompting the company to showcase new, personalised travel experiences at the event.

It adds that as international travel rises, Indian tourists are seeking more authentic cultural and nature-based experiences, particularly in cities like Lisbon, Porto, Barcelona, Madrid, and the Balearic Islands.

The statement adds that Living Tours is unveiling a variety of new activities, from exclusive gastronomic and wine tours to thrilling nature adventures in locations such as Fátima, Nazaré, and Comporta.

It adds that its offerings also extend to the Spanish cities of Barcelona and Madrid, where travellers can enjoy private, curated itineraries. Meanwhile, in Ibiza and Palma de Mallorca, the company is introducing unique activities like hot air balloon rides and visits to sea caves.

“India is the third most important market for Living Tours and the participation in events like SATTE 2025 is a natural step in strengthening our presence, allowing us to build stronger relationships with strategic partners and offer even more personalised experiences to our clients,” says Rui Terroso, CEO, Living Tours.
