Portugal tourism organisation, Visit Portugal, has mounted a new campaign centred around art to promote the destination in overseas markets. In a press statement, Visit Portugal says that the campaign  Portugal is Art takes a bold approach in reimagining the country as a canvas where everyday life becomes an art form. It highlights places to discover in Portugal where everyday life rises to artistic status and each experience reveals a unique cultural dimension. 

The statement adds that Portugal is a fusion between the traditional and the new, a country where art is not contained, because it  crosses landscapes, flavours, waves and traditions as every corner is transformed into a creative  expression.
