The top names of hip-hop, the popular American music, will gather in Pattaya in Thailand for the Asian debut of leading international hip-hop music festival ‘Rolling Loud’ in Asia.

In a press statement, the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) says that recently the grand concert is set to be hosted in Pattaya at Legend Siam from April 13-15.

The organisers say that the three-day Rolling Loud Thailand 2023 festival, supported by the TAT, will be headlined by star appearances like Travis Scott, Cardi B, and Chris Brown and will also include performances by Rick Ross, Waka Flocka Flame, Soulja Boy, and a talented group of rap artists from Thailand as well as other nations. Jay Park, Jessi and the Teriyaki Boyz, BIBI, Central Cee, Destroy Lonely, and Bktherula are among those who will perform at the concert.

The statement adds that Rolling Loud Thailand 2023 festival is one of the major events TAT will organise across Thailand for Thais and foreign tourists to celebrate Songkran. It says that as part of the Visit Thailand Year 2023: Incredible New Chapters campaign, it is in keeping with the plan to promote experience-based travel and the kingdom’s 5F soft-power foundations: food, film, festival, fight, and fashion.

“We are truly honoured that Rolling Loud has chosen Pattaya in Thailand as the destination for its first-ever show in Asia. It reflects the kingdom’s status as a preferred holiday and event destination, and promises to be a fantastic music festival that will add yet another element to the Thai New Year celebrations in Pattaya,” says Thapanee Kiatphaiboon, TAT Deputy Governor for Domestic Market.

The statement by TAT adds that the music festival will take place over a 100,000 sqm area at Legend Siam, with over 70 hip-hop artists performing on two stages. There will also be food and activity zones.
