“Indian travellers are looking for new and offbeat destinations. With connectivity options through airlines like United, China Airlines, Qantas, Japan Airlines, Nauru Airlines and Hong Kong Airlines, Palau is fast becoming one of the most sought-after destinations for Indian tourists,” says Neeraj A Sharma, Consul General of Palau to India.

Additionally, Indian travellers can now explore Palau’s wonders without the hassle of prior visa arrangements, enjoying up to 30 days of stay.

The statement adds that the initiative is part of Palau’s broader strategy to promote sustainable tourism and foster closer ties with India, following similar moves by other regional countries such as the Philippines.
