New Orleans has partnered with Piano Man in Delhi to host an eight-month jazz series from May to December, celebrating the rich musical heritage and culture of the city in Louisiana.

New Orleans, an American city in Louisiana, that is known for its music festivals, has partnered with Piano Man, a restaurant in New Delhi, to present Soul of New Orleans, a unique series of eight experiential music evenings designed to transport Indian audiences to the birthplace of jazz.

According to the press statement, beginning May 16 and running through December, the series, curated in partnership with New Orleans tourism promotion organisation, will feature monthly themed evenings spotlighting the rich jazz tradition and multicultural spirit of the city.

The statement adds that attendees can expect a sensory journey, ranging from the soulful echoes of Preservation Hall and Frenchmen Street to tributes to jazz icons like Louis Armstrong and Wynton Marsalis.

The statement says that the experience will be further elevated by Creole-inspired culinary offerings and immersive performances that capture the inimitable energy of the city.

According to the statement, for Indian travellers inspired to experience New Orleans firsthand, the city is now more accessible than ever, with international connections via New York, Atlanta, London and Dubai.

Additionally, the Piano Man aims to foster a deeper appreciation for jazz and the cultural crossroads that define New Orleans, promising Delhi’s music lovers an unforgettable journey through sound, flavour and history.
