Moroccan National Tourism Office (MNTO), the national organisation that promotes and develops tourism in Morocco, showcased the destination’s readiness for meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions (MICE) movements from India.
In a press statement, MNTO says that in the two-city event in New Delhi and Mumbai, MNTO outlined its MICE offerings for Indian travellers.
It says that the initiative served as a dynamic forum for fostering meaningful connections, strategic collaborations, and the exploration of new possibilities to foster MICE tourism.
The statement adds that Jamal Kilito, Country Manager, India, MNTO, delivered a comprehensive presentation outlining Morocco’s distinct offerings for corporate events, conferences, and incentive trips.
It says that at the event in Delhi, Errachid Alaoui Mrani, Deputy Chief of Mission at the Moroccan Embassy, highlighted the strong India-Morocco relationship to the attendees, along with Morocco’s tourism and visa policies.
The statement adds that the events aimed at engagement to strengthen cooperation with select MICE professionals, providing them with the opportunity to understand Morocco’s growing appeal as a hub for business travel.
“These events allowed us to engage closely with some of India’s most influential MICE tour operators, showcasing Morocco’s diverse offerings and potential for business events. The positive feedback from participants underscores the growing interest in our destination,” says Kilito.
“We are eager to build on this momentum with future missions, further strengthening ties with the Indian market and creating new opportunities for collaboration. Morocco has already been welcoming MICE groups from India in recent months. Given its breathtaking scenery and rich cultural heritage, Morocco stands poised to be a premier destination for both leisure and MICE travellers from India. The purpose of these events is to underscore this remarkable potential,” he adds.
