In collaboration with Gulf Air and destination management company L’Atelier Du Voyage, Moroccan National Tourism Office (ONMT) recently hosted a luxury familiarisation trip for 10 leading Indian tour operators.

In a press statement, the ONMT states that the trip was organised to highlight Morocco’s potential as a premium travel destination, specifically curated to meet the preferences of Indian travellers. It was designed for five tour operators from Mumbai and New Delhi, each specialising in luxury and leisure FIT experiences, as well as high-end group travel.

The week-long journey explored Morocco’s iconic imperial cities including Casablanca, Rabat, Fez, and Marrakech, filled with activities highlighting each destination’s rich cultural heritage, luxury offerings, and unique experiences, the statement adds.

The itinerary included comprehensive hotel inspections, offering a glimpse into Morocco’s premier accommodations. Morocco is a land of diverse experiences where each moment tells a story. This fam trip allowed key Indian tour operators to connect with the soul of Morocco, understanding its deep cultural roots while exploring the modern luxuries and unique adventures it offers. We are confident this initiative will inspire curated journeys that bring Indian travellers closer to the essence of Morocco. This trip has also instilled confidence and sparked immense enthusiasm in our travel partners to promote Morocco as a premium destination for the Indian travellers,” says Jamal Kilito, Country Manager, ONMT, India.
