The Department of Civil Aviation of Mauritius has urged travellers to beware of fraudulent online platforms impersonating the official Mauritius Travel All-In-One form.

The alert, addressed to Air Mauritius and signed by I Raghoobursing for the Director of Civil Aviation, highlights a growing concern over websites deceiving users and charging unauthorised fees.

According to the official communication, the Ministry of Health and Wellness has reported that several illegitimate websites were masquerading as the official travel form platform.

As per the officials, these sites lure travellers into providing sensitive personal information under the pretense of expedited processing, often at a cost. The fraudulent websites identified include digitalform-mauritius.com, alltravelform.typedream.app and certain misleading links on safemauritius.com.

Authorities emphasise that the only legitimate platform for the Mauritius Travel All-In-One form is https://safemauritius.govmu.org/.

Additionally, passengers are urged to avoid any other websites and to remain vigilant against online scams, which can result in financial loss and potential misuse of personal data.

The authorities have requested the airlines and travel agencies to inform all passengers about the official platform and to reinforce awareness campaigns against such scams.

Travellers are advised to report suspicious websites to the authorities and to always verify the authenticity of online forms before entering personal information.
