As part of efforts to expand its presence in Asia, French company Magnicity recently hosted senior Indian travel trade delegates at its Chicago site to support its wider international outreach.
In a press statement, Magnicity says that the event, held on the 94th floor of 360 Chicago, formerly the John Hancock Center, coincided with the IPW 2025 travel trade show. According to the company, the gathering was aimed at showcasing the venue’s tourism offerings to Indian partners. Delegates were hosted for an evening experience featuring a chef-curated menu and cocktails at CloudBar, located above Lake Michigan.
It adds that 360 Chicago includes features such as Tilt, an outward-tilting viewing experience, ‘CloudWalk’, an open-air deck with local artwork and ‘CloudBar’, which serves cocktails inspired by neighbourhoods across the city. The venue also includes programming tied to seasonal events.

“At Magnicity, we believe cities have stories to tell and the best way to hear them is from above. Welcoming our Indian partners to 360 Chicago was a celebration of connection, culture, and shared ambition. As we expand globally, we remain rooted in creating meaningful, localised experiences that resonate across borders,” says Alexia Vettier, CEO, Magnicity.
Magnicity says that in June 2024, it acquired the 95th and 96th floors of the tower. These floors are now being developed into an expansion of the 360 Chicago experience. A staircase will connect all three levels, with a scheduled opening date of 2027. The company says it has invested nearly USD 20 million into the site over the last decade, resulting in a 60 pc increase in visitation.
The Paris-based company says that new observation platforms are in active development across Asia, the Americas and Europe. It said further details would be shared later this year. It adds that the Spiral Tower concept, composed of modular spiral components, is being considered for urban markets, including a potential US launch.
The statement says that the event with Indian delegates was intended to build awareness of the company’s offerings and support expansion into Asia.
“It was an absolute pleasure hosting our Indian trade guests for an evening that blended skyline views with authentic hospitality. The energy, engagement, and feedback we received reinforce how vital this market is and how excited we are for what is next,” says Jim Vozzella, Senior Sales Manager, 360 Chicago.
