Madame Tussauds, a wax museum in Singapore, has unveiled the first wax figure of Indian cinema actor Ram Charan, accompanied by his pet dog, Rhyme.

In a press statement, Merlin Entertainments, a British company that is one of the largest players globally in branded entertainment destinations and which owns Madame Tussauds, says that this dual celebrity and pet figure addition to Madame Tussauds’ global collection was first revealed at a special ceremony in London, where Ram Charan was joined by his family.

“When I saw the figure for the first time, I was absolutely stunned. The likeness is unbelievable, from the expression to the stance to the exact detail of Rhyme by my side. It is like looking in a mirror, and I am so thrilled that fans around the world will get to experience me up close,” says Charan.

The statement adds that the wax figure is set to arrive in Singapore on May 20. Every detail, from the subtle tilt of Ram Charan’s head to the alert posture of his pet, was crafted to capture actor’s calm confidence and the deep bond he shares with his pet.

“What made this project so special was the chance to capture not just a global film icon, but the deep connection he shares with his dog, Rhyme. We worked closely with Ram to ensure every detail, from his posture and smile to Rhyme’s alert gaze, was perfect. This figure is a celebration of both his star power and his warmth as a person,” says Jim Kempton, Principal Sculptor at Merlin Magic Making.

Additionally, Ram Charan’s wax figure is styled in custom black velvet bandhgala jacket that he wore at the 2023 Oscars, a nod to his global recognition following the Oscar win for Naatu Naatu from RRR, the first Indian song to win in its category.
